Justin and Aurélia have just returned from their honeymoon. A sunny getaway that did a world of good for the young woman. The past year has been an emotional whirlwind. Between Grégoire waking up, planning the wedding, the wedding itself, and her sister who, although still very present in her life, has reunited with her husband and spends less time with her, Aurélia finds herself missing her. But how could she blame her?

Justin, on his end, is over the moon. His wife is, without a doubt, the best thing that’s ever happened to him and always will be, he’s sure of it. A Christmas wedding wasn’t the obvious choice, and it took a while to come around to the idea. It might sound strange to some but knowing his wife and the circumstances they were in when he made the decision, it ended up being the best gift he could have ever wished for. But he had been crystal clear about one thing: the honeymoon would be in August, somewhere sunny, no negotiation.

He thinks back to the conversation they had back then. Aurélia had just come back from her first dress fitting.

“You know I love the sun as much as you love Christmas!”

“Yes, but since I was little, I always imagined going on my honeymoon the moment I said ‘I do.’ I pictured myself running away from the ceremony still in my princess dress…”

“Okay, then we change the date and get married next summer! Problem solved! You’ll get to fly off in your wedding dress!” he teased.

“No! That’s not what I meant! Just…”

“I get it. But I’m not going to Lapland for my honeymoon. You’d probably make us sleep in an igloo.”

“Nonsense!”

He smiled. He knew exactly she was going to say that. He let her keep going, keeping up a sulky face while laughing on the inside.

“Of course we’ll go somewhere warm, in the middle of summer! Anything you want, my love! I know Christmas doesn’t hold the same magic for you… Let’s call it even, deal?” she added with a wink.

The kiss that followed had been fierce and it didn’t take long before they were swept away in a wave of passion and pleasure, something they both cherished deeply.

Just thinking about that memory is enough to stir him physically. He casts a loving glance at his wife as she sets her suitcase down at the foot of their bed.

With two quick strides, he’s by her side, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her neck. Her scent intoxicates him. Surprised, she flinches, but a second later, she tilts her head to let him have more skin. She shivers at the touch of his greedy lips, which she particularly loves. His mouth finds hers, and their tongues quickly tangle. Aurélia turns around, letting her hands slip under her husband’s T-shirt. She runs her fingers along the muscles of his back, then grabs the hem and lifts it off in one swift motion. Meanwhile, Justin unhooks her bra, freeing her tight breasts and hardened nipples under her light dress.

Now shirtless, he can’t wait to be skin-to-skin and “warm himself up” with her body heat. Her dress quickly joins the pile of clothes on the floor. He gently pushes her onto the bed and lies on top of her, still kissing her. The fire of passion draws them into a sensual and slow dance, which takes them both to climax in perfect unison.

Afterwards, they stay in each other’s arms, catching their breath.

“I love you,” he tells her.

“I know,” she replies.

He props himself up on one elbow to look at her more closely. She seems lost in thought.

He strokes her cheek with his free hand. She leans into the touch. He says again, locking eyes with her:

“I love you.”

“I love you too,” she whispers with a smile.
“That’s better!”

She throws a pillow at him in response, laughing, then jumps up.

“You won’t get away with that!” he shouts after her, stretching back out with his hands behind his head.

Aurélia heads into the shower. He hears the water running. It’s already late, night is falling. He gets up and goes to the kitchen to whip up a light dinner before bed. He opens the cupboards, searching for inspiration. Nothing appeals to him. He checks the fridge—just a few eggs, butter, and ham.

Right… we didn’t do any shopping before we left. Think, think…

He’s still standing there with the fridge open when Aurélia joins him.

“Need a hand?”

“What do you feel like eating?”

“Right now, looking at you like that… not much.”

He looks down. He’s completely naked.

He scratches his head and bursts out laughing.

“Okay, fair… But I’m starving right now!”

“We can always eat later,” she purrs.

She’s only wearing her bathrobe, which she casually lets fall from her shoulders. Justin wraps her in his arms again and quickly surrenders to desire.

She presses herself against him, kissing him slowly and deeply. He lifts her and sets her on the counter. After exchanging a fiery look, he traces his tongue along the curve of her breasts, teasing her eager nipple. Then he grips her soft round bottom, adjusts her position toward the edge of the counter, and kneels down.

He starts working her with his tongue, shamelessly playing with her most sensitive spot. A moan escapes her lips, drawing a mischievous glance from him.

He keeps at it, until she comes undone in a loud, sweet climax. Then he stands and enters her slowly. It doesn’t take long before he joins her in pleasure. She clings to him, kissing him tenderly while catching her breath.

Moments later, they’ve set the table in the living room and are seated in front of what barely qualifies as a ham omelet.

“This is the best omelet I’ve had in ages!” says Aurélia.
“So how does it feel being married to a master chef?” Justin jokes.

“Well… I have to admit, that’s not the talent I married you for…”

They both laugh heartily and finish their plates in record time.

They enjoy their last day off curled up on the couch, watching a romantic movie.

Work can wait till tomorrow.
